Fireball explosion with natural rolling decay and delayed single reflection. The pyrotechnic explosion took place in the forest at el tejon ranch in late march 2013 during a film shoot. The sound was recorded using a schoeps mk41 supercardioid condenser microphone running into a sound devices 442/722 mixer/recorder combo. I cleaned up extraneous background noise using pro tools and izotope rx. Enjoy!.

Ambiance sound of an urban street on a summer night (it was taken at 22:30hrs). You will hear heavy traffic (motorcycles and cars), planes passing by (on minute 2:30 and 6:30), dogs barking and some indistinguishable talks. This sound was recorded with a zoom h5 in mexico city, over eje 5 sur street. If you use it, tell me where!.

At closest to target it was recorded from about 33ft away from mower at farthest range about 40ft away. If you wanted the mower to be heard from an inside area you could add a high pass filter to the recording. Please note this wasn't taken with the average household mower it was taken with a heavy duty lawn mower used for cutting large areas of grass so it doesn’t have the same sound as a regular mower.

I made this by playing a piccolino recorder and then adding reverb to it. There was a loop ready-made in garage-band that i used as a model but then changed it because i didn't want it to loop. I added flourishes so that it ends. This is the intro for an audio book i am recording but since i created the sound, i can share it. I would be happy if anyone else wanted to use it. No need to give credit etc.

This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids. At times it can sound like a guitar with floyd rose doing dive bombs. Translated with www. Deepl. Com/translator (free version).

Unprocessed recording of a small gong. I'm not sure about the classification. Captured using a røde nt5 microphone and a zoom h5 recorder. Date of the recording: 13/09/2016. Cut in ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear back from you. What projects did you use these sounds for?please let me know. ;-).

It's a recording of a medium-sized dog's yelping. The dog also repeatedly sneezes from 1:15 on. The dog was longing for it's master, i did not do any harm to it otherwise than mercifully recording funny (in my opinion) sounds it made instead of saying words of support. I don't feel guilty. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2 in 48khz/24-bit wav, edited, normalized and converted to flac using audacity.

Recorded in a controlled studio environment with a sennheiser mkh 416 shotgun microphone into a universal audio la-610 mk ii pre-amp through ssl converters. 48000 khz 32-bit float. The chimes of big ben first appeared on bbc radio at the very end of 1923 to announce the new year. In december 1948 this recording (catalogue number 825677) marked the 25th anniversary of big ben’s broadcasting career. Because the recording was made inside the tower there’s plenty of intriguing mechanical detail in addition to the tolling of the quarter bells and the 13-ton great bell. Big ben is the unofficial name for the great bell. Other london bell names include great paul and great tom in st pauls cathedral, and the inscribed names on the bells of st mary-le-bow in cheapside: katherine, fabian, christopher, margaret, mildred, faith, augustine, john, timothy, pancras, cuthbert and bow. A slinky spring toy stretched out and plucked once from the end, recorded with a zeppelin design labs cortado impedance-matched piezo contact microphone. The resulting recording is a classic spring-based sci-fi "laser sound" with a massive, lengthy, rumbling decay tail. This was recorded at 24 bit 96 khz. In addition to its use as a sound effect, this waveform works well inside a convolution reverb as an offbeat spring reverb impulse response, provided one has the processor power and ram to support a 2 minute 13 second convolution. The cortado's bass response is exceptionally large for a contact mic, so high pass filtering may be desired if used as an impulse response.

Extracted from camera recorded content, tidied up with audacity mono and noisegate. . . I also listen for problems and cherry pick to avoid weird sounds. . No rubbish dry sample. If you want to use these sorts of sounds (good for games or video), remeber adding reverb back is the trick to making the sound big again.

A short piece of melody. . . Sound is an artifact extracted from one of test records in new audacity. It sounds like a saw. . . Or something? idk. This piece sounds kinda exotic because i used the second half of harmonic e-minor scale. So some people could use this combination (descending harmonic scale) before (even now i can remember two examples. ).

11/29/2018 - burbank, california. Rain, flooding, and mudslides come to california when a sudden storm hit today. Most people got off the freeways quickly and tried to protect their homes from water damage. This recording was recorded with a zoomh4npro (2018) set at 120 degree field-pattern mode. The zoom was placed on a tripod facing out a 3rd floor window into a dead-end alleyway below. This recording is great atmospheric sound. The water can be heard trickling off spanish tile rooftops and dripping from overflowing terracotta pots. From the passing cars on a distant highway, to the occasional cough of a homeless gentleman walking on the street below, this recording is genuine and clean. Imagine adding that sound of a metal garbage can and a shrieking cat in the night! a sound that's great for sleeping or portraying a dark alley in gotham!. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.

Just walking around sam's club one afternoon and picking up the store ambience and overall sound of the space which is a big warehouse type building. Midway thru some starts talking thru the loudspeaker.

It is a psicosphere sound designed by me, made by processing an audio recorded from blowing in a glass bottle. I think it came out an interesting result, specially if you want to create a dramatic atmosphere. Enjoy! and please comment if you like.

Here is a rainy day version with what sounds like blue jays and other birds including crows in the background. Recorded on the back porch with rain falling off eaves in a spectacular sound clip via a tascam dr-05.

This sound is recorded with a h2 zoom and you could percieve the sound of openning and closing a wc door. You can perceive a closed space with resonances from some machine and where someone open a wc door and after a fews seconds door is closed.

Using an inflated toy balloon in a bath full of water to create some interesting sounds. The balloon hitting the top of the water almost sounds like a drum, and my fingers on the wet rubber could be useful in a cartoony squash and stretch capacity. Recorded on a tascam dr-05.

Could be used for a scene transition or flash back. I don't know, use you imagination. . . Created by clipping a breath noise out of a recording i did and then created some stereo imaging and then added delay and some automated eq.

I like rolling my tobacco, so i thought "why not use my roller to make a sound effect?". I gently opened the lid infront of the mic. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

[the high pitched screeches are not actually present in the audio file] constant sound of a strong wind, great for layering underneath more dynamic environmental recordings. The sound was created in reaktor 6 using fft based granular synthesis.

The sound of the evening call to prayer. Recorded in the bambalapitiya area of colombo, sri lanka near a mosque as people make their way to pray. The sound of people passing, crows and traffic can also be heard.

I recorded this animal noise in my ceiling. I have no idea what it could be so thought i would put it out there. . !! sounds like there is more than one and sounding young. Possibilities are possum, bats, birds or rats. Any ideas?.
